Educational and Developmental Psychologist and Animal Assisted Therapist

Anita has completed a Masters Degree in Child and Educational Psychology, and is endorsed by the Psychology Board as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist. She is also a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI) and keeps up to date with regular professional development in a variety of areas.

Anita has over 20 years’ experience working in primary and secondary schools, government organisations, and private practice settings. She has also worked as a lecturer in Developmental Psychology.

Anita provides tailored, evidence-based psychological therapy to children, adolescents, and their families in a wide range of areas.

She specialises in working with autistic young people, and those with anxiety and phobias, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She also provides parenting counselling based on your individual family situation.

Anita is trauma informed in her practice and reflects warmth and empathy in her therapeutic approach.

She is skilled at engaging and working with children and adolescents. Anita is passionate about providing psychological interventions to improve the lives of young people and their families.

Anita is also an Animal Assisted Therapist who works with her two dogs in the therapy room.

Fees &
Appointments

Appointments run for 50 minutes - at $235 per session.

Anita welcomes Self-managed and Plan-managed NDIS participants.

Medicare rebates are available with a Mental Health Plan.
